The Story of Karibu

The Karibu Station

Many years ago, in a mysterious and exotic place in Africa, there was an old train station forgotten among nature, until a kind traveling guide decided to bring it back to life.

With patience, he cleaned, repaired and prepared the station to welcome new explorers. He added signs, brought corners back to life, and got everything ready so families passing through could rest before continuing their journey. One day an explorer arrived, who understood this could be the starting point of incredible adventures. He saw it, smiled, and immediately said the word "Karibu", which means welcome in Swahili.

From that day on, Karibu Station became a special place for traveling families. Children could explore, learn and play, while adults shared stories and recharged their energy.

Today, every family that arrives at Karibu continues the tradition: coming in as travelers… and leaving as explorers ready for a new adventure.
